Hello, my name is Mrs. Maria Enriquez-Carrillo and I teach First Grade

Parent volunteers are a must! I expect all parents to volunteer at least 20 hours a year. Any questions please speak to me.
Always remember to send a note or call me whenever your child is absent.
Homework is given everyday except for Friday. You must bring your homework to school daily.

Please make sure you are reading your A.R. BOOK at least 3-5 times before you take your test. Please sign when your child is ready to take their test. They should be ready by Thursday or Friday every week! We get a new book every Monday.

Reminders:
Please read with your child everyday for at least 20 minutes to improve fluency levels. Our goal is to read and comprehend 69 words per minute or more by the end of 1st grade.
Please help your child read all of the 1st grade high frequency words. Please stop by and see how many scoops they have won!
